We are currently seeking a highly-motivated SUMMER SUPPORT WORKERS to
join our team in CLARE, LIMERICK & NORTH TIPPERARY (Please state on

OVERVIEW OF THE POST:
The Summer Camp Support Worker will carry out a range of duties with
the summer camp setting under the guidance and supervision of the camp
leader to provide the highest standards of quality supports to our
Service Owners.

THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE
_ESSENTIAL CRITERIA:_
* Minimum QQI Level 5 Childcare course (total 8 modules) to include
module on special needs or Year 1 completed of a related degree
programme (such as Social Care, Teaching, Nursing, Occupational
Therapy, Physiotherapy, Psychology)
* Experience of working with children/young people or people with
disabilities.
_DESIRABLE CRITERIA:_
* Full driver?s license
* Commitment to working in partnership with parents/carers and
children in a family centred manner
* Current Manual Handling Training/First Aid
* Good knowledge of child protection & child development
